RealSmartPro is a part of Online Connexions, Inc., a website development company that has been creating websites since 1996. We've designed websites for businesses ranging from insurance companies to car audio stores, but a big focus for us has always been websites for real estate agents. One of the first websites we built was for a local REALTOR. Immediately, we saw opportunities. We created real estate websites with control panels for agents to enter their listings and upload the photos. If only agents didn't have to enter their listings a second time to get them on their websites, they've already listed them in their MLS software.In October of 2001, we were in the middle of developing a fairly large website for a real estate office with 40 agents and hundreds of listings when we heard about something called IDX that all the local MLS's would be required by the National Association of REALTORS to provide to their brokers. Data feeds containing every listing in the MLS, were becoming available that the broker could sign for and we could use to populate his website with fresh listing data every single day.
Soon we began creating features for our real estate clients using the newly available data - more advanced searches, open house listings, notification of new listings by email and much, much more. We were committed to getting the most possible use out of the IDX data for our clients and providing them with effective real estate websites at an affordable price.
Today, we continue to improve our RealSmartPro websites for brokers and agents and continue to look for new features to add, often at no additional charge. We've now integrated many other elements of successful online marketing, such as CRM and SEO into RealSmartPro websites. For most real estate agents, these built in tools will eliminate the need for separate and more expensive programs to do these jobs.
